Universal Design

Hafjell Hotell has a disabled toilet at the fireplace lounge, a telephone loop in the reception and meeting rooms, and 4 hotel rooms specially designed for people with a reduced mobility. Both the reception, library, fireplace lounge, Øyer Hall, Hafjell Hall and restaurant with the dining rooms and buffet area are on the same level. Most of our food can be made lactose- or gluten-free.

There is easy accessibility between the facilities. The main entrance is created in a way that makes it easy for people with wheelchair to enter, all year around. We have therefore created an entrance area with a gentle slope down towards the front door - in addition to laying heating cables in the entrance area so that it will not become icy in winter.
